Gallino (Cartel boss) is a character in Landman, part of The cartel. Gallino is the cartel's man for West Texas — a courteous, patient executive of an organization that does not advertise. Where his predecessors saw the oil patch as smuggling terrain, Gallino sees what Tommy sees: infrastructure, cash flow, legitimacy to borrow. He prefers arrangements to bodies, which makes him more dangerous than the men who prefer bodies; his patience always has a price attached.
