Pablo Acosta in Narcos: Mexico

Who is Pablo Acosta in Narcos: Mexico?

The bandit king of Ojinaga · The Plazas

Pablo Acosta (The bandit king of Ojinaga) is a character in Narcos: Mexico, part of The Plazas. Pablo Acosta runs the Ojinaga plaza like the last of the border bandits: cowboy hat, folk songs about him, a Robin Hood ledger of schools roofed and funerals paid alongside the tonnage moved. He joins Félix's federation the way a wolf joins a kennel club — provisionally, on his own terms — and supplies the series' romantic counterweight: the trafficker as frontier myth, complete with the myth's expiry date. His affair with a Texan rancher and his ending on the Rio Grande are both, improbably, true.
