Vecna (The curse of Hawkins) is a character in Stranger Things, part of The Upside Down. Something in the Creel house's darkness has begun reaching into Hawkins — a presence that finds the guilt-wracked and the traumatized, splinters their minds with visions of clocks and dead memories, and kills them in ways the town has no language for. The kids will eventually give it a name from their campaign books: Vecna. What it wants, and how long it has been waiting, is the season's terrible question.
