Siggy (The survivor of the old court) is a character in Vikings, part of Kattegat. Siggy is the Earl's wife and Kattegat's first lady, a sharp political mind operating through the only channels open to her: counsel, alliance and the management of her husband's darker moods. She has buried sons and learned that power borrowed from a man can be repossessed without notice. When the order around her starts to crack, Siggy's instinct is the one that has always served her — survive the fall, and find standing in whatever rises next.
