Who is Vander in Arcane?
The hound of the underground, retired · The Undercity
Vander (The hound of the underground, retired) is a character in Arcane, part of The Undercity. Vander once led the undercity's uprising against Piltover and carries the bridge massacre as his private penance. Now he keeps the peace instead: barman of the Last Drop, unofficial governor of the Lanes, and adoptive father to Vi, Powder, Mylo and Claggor. His doctrine — keep your head down, don't antagonise the topside — bought years of fragile calm, and the new generation is already chafing against it. When Piltover demands a culprit for the heist, Vander's answer defines him: protect the kids, whatever the price.
